If you like in-your-face action AND I mean in your face… then Final Destination 4 [in 3-D format] is the movie for you! With my black, three-dimensional glasses in tow, a friend and I bought our tickets and giddily found seats to view the popular American fright filled thriller. I’ve followed FD since its debut in 2000 and it has only become better. This summer’s fourth addition to the film series was complete with non-stop, nail-biting, jaw-dropping, crouch down in your seat, thrills and chills. FD4 was released in 3-D as well as in conventional format August 28, 2009. It is also the first 3-D film to feature D-BOX motion feedback technology [in select theaters]. Director David R. Ellis kept the audience on its toes by presenting all kinds of new dangerously precarious situations to the film; including a scene that puts the audience itself in the hot seat!
- PROS: FUN, FAST, SUSPENSEFUL. GOOD DATE MOVIE.
- CONS: ENDING WAS A GRAPHIC XRAY!
